iBook? TiBook?
I'm thinking of buying a mac.
Yeah, it's troubling. But, I've been playing with Ata's G3 powerbook lately,
and been quite impressed with it.
I've got OroborOSX running on it. XDarwin. OpenOffice with the SO fonts /
templates. Emacs w/X11 support (yeah, I'm one of those guys). And I'm
pretty impressed. The gimp runs well. Safari's pretty fast.
I'm torn between the tiBook 15.2" and the iBook 14". Goddard claims ej
will give me a 15% price break on the laptop, which makes the tiBook more
affordable. But, I do like the look of the iBook's and the longer battery life
is nice too.
But, I'm not sure how much of a performance hit the G3 takes versus the G4..
I have to play more with the g4's.
So, then the question becomes which one...
